Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill

This review is on Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill on Main Street in East Islip.
We had dinner with another couple here on Father Day June 17, 2012. This was not our first time dining at Jackson Hall, we have been here before and we will certainly go again. This is a great spot, weather you come straight from work in a suit or as casual as shorts and a shirt. The décor is as nice as the food presentation; that is to say both are exquisite. On this visit our server was Taylor, this gentleman never writes down your order and always gets everything perfect. Taylor had not been our server in the last few months and he still remembered my food allergy (Amazing!). To start we had the Mussels Marinara and the Rock Shrimp appetizers. The mussels are always fresh and clean, they come in a garlic and basil tomato marinara that you would expect to get in the finest Italian restaurant. The rock shrimp are perfectly cooked and served with an amazing lemon garlic aioli and fresh sliced jalapeño peppers. The Red sangria, with a few secret added ingredients is a great drink to go with these appetizers. The main dishes we ordered were; Cajun Shrimp & Scallops Linguini, Prosciutto & Mozzarella Chicken Cutlet, Rib Eye Steak Special and a Skirt Steak Special. Everything was cooked flawlessly, from the pasta to the meats.
We can’t say enough good stuff about this place, the owner Tom Pelligrino (a super nice guy) and his family have been in the restaurant business for a long time as a matter of fact his son is the brilliant chef here at Jackson Hall. If you have room all the deserts are fantastic also. The must try if you have a few people to share with is the Chocolate Pizza…WOW!

They get Five out of Five Forks!
